This provocative image builds anticipation for Saw X, which will see the return of Tobin Bell as the iconic villain John Kramer, AKA Jigsaw. Rather than a direct sequel, Saw X is set between the original Saw and Saw II, centering Jigsaw himself laying his sadistic plans. As he journeys to Mexico for an experimental cancer treatment in the film, Jigsaw unravels a scam targeting the desperate and exacts vicious vengeance through his signature brand of “games.”
With Shawnee Smith also reprising her role as Jigsaw’s devoted disciple Amanda Young, Saw X aims to expand on her backstory while also exploring this previously unseen period in the fiendish mastermind’s career. Fans can expect plenty of spine-chilling suspense and visceral gore as the franchise rewinds to its roots. The movie Saw X will be in theaters on Oct. 27, 2023, just in time for Halloween chills! I know what you’re thinking, it would’ve been cool for the movie to come out this year, but there are plenty of other great horror features to enjoy this Halloween season.
